Comfortable Dentistry in Belmar, New Jersey

Comfort focused Dentistry

If you or a loved one breaks into a cold sweat at the mention of the word "dentist", we know we can improve your experience. Our staff is trained to use techniques and equipment that will make your visit way more comfortable. Talk to us about what will work for you. We are confident that we can supply you with quality dental care in a comfortable, relaxed manner.

Conscious Sedation

Conscious sedation is a great sedative option for patients who are extremely anxious or who require more than one procedure during the same visit. For this type of sedation, our practice will provide you with an oral sedative which has to be consumed before your scheduled visit. We may also give you nitrous oxide, i.e. laughing gas, to increase the calming effects and ensure you are relaxed during the procedure.

Nitrous Oxide

Minimize the stress and apprehension of your next visit. If these are issues you relate to, ask to have Nitrous Oxide administered during your visit. Both the Doctors and our Hygienists are certified so all of your visits here can be as comfortable as possible.

Single Tooth Anesthesia – The Wand

The Wand has created the standard of technology that our patients have come to expect. It is one of the ways in which we administer painless injections. We are able to anesthetize one single tooth, eliminating the collateral numbing of the cheek, lip and tongue. When used in cosmetic procedures, The Wand allows the immediate evaluation of the smile line so you can see the benefits without having to wait for the anesthesia to wear off.

High Level Sterilization Procedures

Nothing is more important in ensuring your health care than cleanliness and proper sterilization. Every possible effort is made to use the highest quality and most up-to-date techniques to keep our office, equipment and patients happy and healthy. Water lines are filtered in both directions, keeping both our patients and the environment healthy, and our sterilizers go though evaluation testing on a regular basis.

Digital Xrays and Intraoral Camera

Newer technology in digital X-rays not only gives us an immediate image but, more importantly, exposes the patient to far less radiation. Modern technologies like the intraoral camera allows us to see pictures of the exterior of the tooth, allowing for a superior diagnosis.

In Chair TV

Relax, unwind, and chuckle. We provide specially designed “glasses” which allow our patients to watch TV or, for longer appointments, a movie. These have provided such a positive and transporting effect that some of our patients have asked the Doctor to “please pass the popcorn”.
